IARF - A foundation

Having established a strong presence in India, a worldwide sport is now seeking community backing to lay a solid foundation starting from the grassroots level. IARF, created by athletes themselves, aims to support the future of augmented reality and its athletes.

The IARF is a non-profit organization governed by Athletes and Race Directors who have been in the sport for more than a decade. The IARF governs and defines Adventure Races across the country as Sprint AR, State AR, National Championship and support Indian athlete to represent globally.

The Governing council has been part of various international Expedition Adventure Races such as South Africa, New Zealand, Mauritius, Lesotho, Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines and have hosted and raced multiple Qualifier and Regional Adventure Races. The First Indian Team represented the country in 2022 at an International Adventure Rac in Thailand.

Developing the AR From Grassroot

Supporting Indian athletes at all levels. Adventure Racing is a growing sport in India and its niche "World's Toughest Team Sport" format is gaining traction, where more people are joining as experience, fitness, wellness, passion and now to represent the country at National and International level.  We aim to deliver opportunity & support for all athletes at all levels in India. As the recognized National Governing Body for Adventure Racing, we are focused on ‘building a healthy and skilled Adventure Racing & Orienteering community’.

• Nationwide Race Experience: At IARF, our focus to bring the best of India and our athletes at all-terrain to learn, explore the all-in-one adventure racing while promoting and highlighting each states local culture, traditions, hospitality as part of the experience. Grooming and growing the sport and its people.
  

• AR & Orienteering Workshops: At IARF, we are committed to offering extensive skilled workshops, meet-ups, clinics to support to all adventure racing enthusiasts throughout your adventure racing journey.

• Athletes Development: Athlete counselling, skill building, innovative race solutions, enhance skills, gear advancements, trainings, healthy mind and body to ensure our Indian athletes are prepared better for every challenges.

• AR Support Staff Trainings: At IARF our focus is not just on athletes, but also training the support team associated with the sport, such as Volunteers, Check-point Marshalls, TA Marshalls, Evacuation Team, Media, Team Media, Race Directors, and more. IARF offers a diverse range of experiences to up the skills of everyone involved in the sport.
